A. The Wireless undertaking.
The War Office are prepared to agree in principle to the net receipts basis. As regards the rate of interest on capital expenditure met from revenue, they admit that probably some increase in the
rate of allowance is justified, but would like us to get figures from the Crown Agents as to the rate of interest at which Colonial loans have been issued in London during recent years.
b. Motor Vans.
The War Office are prepared to agree providing we can assure them that this service is of a commercial
nature.
C.
Gap Rock Lighthouse.
This is a very small matter, and the War Office
will be open to argument upon it.

The War Office accept the exemption of these receipts in principle, but would like to be assured that there is no possibility of the Colonial Government
making a profit out of the transaction.

Overpayments.
In view of the explanation obtained from Hong
Kong the War Office accept the exclusion of these
receipts.
